For out-of-state visitors

Are mushrooms legal in Colorado?

Yes, with restrictions. Colorado permits regulated psilocybin mushroom sessions for adults 21 and older through licensed healing centers and facilitators. That does not mean mushrooms can be sold freely, and psilocybin remains illegal under federal law. See Colorado’s official Natural Medicine program and the federal classification.

You don’t need to be a Colorado resident.

Most of my clients come from out of state. If you’re considering traveling to Colorado for a mushroom experience, we start with a call to discuss your questions and how the process works.

I hold Colorado facilitator License #18, one of the earliest issued.

Before your trip

If you decide to move forward after our first call, we schedule your administration day, two preparation sessions and one integration session.

The typical minimum lead time is about three weeks. I like the two preparation sessions about a week apart. Both happen by video before your trip.

You’ll complete health screening, informed consent and a travel plan beforehand. The health screening helps make sure this is a safe fit for you.

Where your session happens

I work with licensed healing centers across the Boulder and Denver areas. We choose a center based on availability, your location preference and cost.

You’ll take dried mushrooms; my first-session guide explains what you’ll take and how it’s prepared.

Planning your visit

Some clients fly in the night before and leave the day after. Others arrive a couple of days early and stay an extra day. We’ll discuss your travel plan beforehand.

Your integration session happens by video after you’re home.

Cost

My facilitation fee is $1,500. It includes two preparation sessions, support during your administration session and one integration session. Healing center and mushroom costs are separate.
