Preparation
Psilocybin preparation for a considered experience.
Preparation sessions offer a calm place to slow down, clarify what matters, and build practical tools before a psilocybin experience in Boulder or Denver.
Why preparation comes first
A supported experience begins well before the day of administration. Preparation makes room for the practical details, the questions that might otherwise get pushed aside, and the personal context you want Scott to understand. It is not about trying to script an outcome.
Instead, it is a chance to arrive with more clarity about what you are seeking, what support helps you feel grounded, and how the full process will unfold.
What preparation can include
- Clarifying intentions and your reasons for exploring this work
- Discussing readiness, practical logistics, and support systems
- Developing grounding and body-awareness tools
- Talking through what may feel challenging or uncertain
- Making space for curiosity rather than control
What it is not
Preparation is not psychotherapy, diagnosis, or medical advice. Scott does not tell you what you should discover or prescribe a meaning for your experience. His role is to offer a structured, participant-centred setting for the work you have chosen to consider.
Format and next step
Preparation sessions are 60 minutes. Two are included in the full facilitation process. Standalone preparation sessions are $125. You can also review the full facilitation process, including the supported session and integration afterward.
