Process
What to expect from a first psilocybin session
How preparation, a supported session, and integration work together.
The process starts before the session
A first session is not simply a date on the calendar. Preparation makes room for questions, intentions, practical grounding tools, and an honest conversation about what may feel challenging or uncertain.
For Scott’s clients, there are two preparation sessions before an administration day. The goal is not to predict or control the experience. It is to arrive with context, enough practical clarity, and a sense of what support may help.
What happens on administration day
Scott supports one client at a time in a licensed healing-center setting. The participant self-administers the natural medicine, while Scott remains present to support the conditions for the experience.
The administration portion generally lasts 6 to 8 hours. Scott’s approach is grounded and non-directive. He does not interpret the experience for you or steer it toward a predetermined insight.
Give integration its own time
About a week afterward, Scott meets with clients for a 60-minute integration conversation. This is not a test of whether the experience produced a particular result. It is a place to notice what remains meaningful and how it may connect with everyday life.
Some people want more than one conversation after a session. Additional integration support is available when more continuity would be helpful.
