Is psilocybin facilitation legal in Colorado?+
Colorado has a regulated Natural Medicine framework. Scott provides licensed Natural Medicine facilitation. His administration sessions take place at licensed healing centers, with Scott present throughout the experience.
Is facilitation the same as psychotherapy?+
No. People often use the word therapy when they are looking for support around psilocybin, but Scott provides licensed Natural Medicine facilitation, not psychotherapy, diagnosis, or medical treatment.
Do I need prior psychedelic experience?+
No. Many people considering this work are new to psychedelics. The preparation process is a place to understand what to expect and decide whether it feels right for you.
What happens in a free consultation?+
The consultation is a 30-minute conversation about what you are considering, how the process works, and whether Scott’s approach feels like a potential fit. It is not an obligation to move forward.
What happens if difficult feelings arise?+
Difficult feelings can be part of a meaningful experience. Scott’s role is to remain present, support safety, and help you use the grounding tools discussed in preparation.
Who may not be a good fit?+
Psilocybin is not right for everyone. Screening considers mental health history, medical factors, medication, stability, and support systems. A consultation can help determine an appropriate next step.
Can I stop prescribed medication before a session?+
Do not change prescribed medication without guidance from your prescribing clinician. Medication and health history are discussed as part of the screening process.
How long does a session take?+
The supported administration session generally lasts 6 to 8 hours. The process also includes preparation beforehand and integration afterward.
What does the full process cost?+
Scott’s full facilitation fee is $1,250 and includes the consultation, two preparation sessions, support during a 6 to 8 hour session, one integration session, and message support. Healing-center rental and the cost of psilocybin are separate.
